DOG FITNESS TREATMENT
About Dog Fitness Treatments
The exercises are designed to assist you in maintaining your pet’s physical condition, enhancing their regular posture and movement.
In this form of exercise, the dog actively participates in the exercises. As a therapist, I establish the correct trajectory to encourage and direct the animal.
The method aims to build muscle, actively mobilize the joints and spine, practice loading phases, and develop coordination. To achieve this, I utilize various specialized balancing equipment with different shapes and sizes, including stable and unstable surfaces, such as airex mats, balance balls, slalom courses, fitball, cones, etc.
These exercises also target muscles that are less engaged during everyday walking, other movements, or even running. Strengthening the deep muscles around the joints can improve joint stability, which plays a crucial role in preventing illnesses and injuries.
There is an endless array of gymnastics equipment and exercises available. Each exercise is customized, considering the dog’s body type, lifestyle, and mental state.
Exercises
Active exercises for healthy dogs are highly popular among dog owners. Dog Fitness proves to be an effective approach for muscle and balance development. This method relies on positive reinforcement, using rewards or toys to guide the dog through the exercises.
Apart from enhancing physical fitness, these exercises also bring about positive mental changes in the dog. They help in developing concentration, attention, and discipline during the tasks.
To whom I recommend dog fitness treatments
-
to the owners who bring their dogs to fitness classes as a preventive measure.
-
to sports’ dogs to work specifically on developing muscularity appropriate to the sport.
-
to those over-active, to release excess energy, through adventure, challenge and playfulness.
-
to those whose job does not allow for regular long walks and the right amount of exercise.
-
to dogs who need to lose weight or build muscle while developing their attention and balance. Research shows that dogs can live 25% longer if they do not struggle with being overweight.
Since no two diagnoses are the same, just as no two individuals are the same, no two therapies are the same. Each dog is given a personalised schedule!
What you have the power to do:
- Strengthens the muscles of dogs
